What began as a hobby quickly blossomed into a sweet desire to create dessert arrangements. Raheel’s passion grew after studying with renowned cake designer Bonnie Gordon. Now, her “sweet inspirations” compete in cake design competitions; recently her "Proud as a Peacock" cake was selected for long-term display at the Redpath Sugar Museum.

"I have always enjoyed baking and often turned to it as a way to relieve stress. The kneading, beating and whisking would work better than squeezing any stress ball - and the delicious smells coming from the oven would melt all my worries away."

"As a young girl, I traveled to many countries and learned to appreciate the different lifestyles and cultures from around the world. I know that cakes and sweets are universally loved, and I wanted to share in that love through my baking."

At Raheel's, you'll always find a smile on her face, and cookies in the oven!
